Online Safety Bill: UK’s Privacy Invasion Plot Paused

The UK’s controversial Online Safety Bill, which includes a “spy clause” that would allow government scanning of private messages, has been temporarily postponed. However, with tech regulator Ofcom still holding the power to develop scanning software, privacy in the UK remains in jeopardy.
