Bleach Out: Clorox’s Cybersecurity Stain

In a twist of irony, Clorox, the cleaning giant, couldn’t clean up its own digital mess. After a costly network breach, Chief Security Officer, Amy Bogac, exits, leaving the company to clean up the cybersecurity stain.

Hot Take:

When it comes to corporate cybersecurity breaches, it appears even the masters of clean up can't bleach out their digital stains. Clorox, the household name we all trust to wipe our surfaces clean, couldn't quite scrub away a network breach that cost them a pretty penny. Now, their Chief Security Officer, Amy Bogac, has taken her cleaning gloves off and exited, leaving the company to mop up the mess. Let's hope their next CISO comes armed with a bigger cybersecurity mop and a sturdier firewall bucket!
